Former Wildcat Andru Phillips selected No. 70 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft by New York Giants

After forgoing his senior season, Kentucky defensive back Andru Phillips heard his name called in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft as he was selected by the New York Giants.

Phillips came to Lexington as a three-star recruit out of Mauldin High School in South Carolina and chose Kentucky over several other SEC schools including the likes of Tennessee and Georgia.

After a true freshman year where he saw little action on his way to an eventual redshirt, Phillips would appear in nine games in redshirt freshman year and would total three tackles.
