ATLANTA, Ga. – Freshman Luke Potter led the team Monday after shooting a three-under 69 that made him runner-up after the first round of the East Lake Cup. Potter shot a bogey-free 32 on the back-nine that included an eagle, and two birdies through a six hole span.
Including the freshman, Men's Golf had Josele Ballester shoot a 70 (-2), Preston Summerhays shoot a 71 (-1) and Michael Mjaaseth with a 71 (-1) to help them take the first seed heading into Match Play on Tuesday against Pepperdine.
